Audubon Swamp Garden

The boardwalk's wind around a rookery and it is a busy time of year. Most birds were building nests or nesting and the herons had their young ones already. With egrets, the males, I believe, were busy building the nests and the females sat on the eggs. Now and then they would pick at each other if he wasn't putting the sticks in just so.... very funny. Even in nature.
